The Reserve Bank of Australia’s second repo auction to provide US dollars generated some demand this week compared to the week before. The RBA sold US$600 million against a maximum amount of US$10 billion versus just US$50 million sold last week.
Like the first repo, the term was 84 days but the cut-off rate this time was slightly lower at 0.32% versus 0.34% last week.
