RBA buys A$1.0B govt bonds but 2023 yld still slightly above 0.25%

Published On 10 Aug 2020 , 03:56 PMThe RBA bought A$1.0 billion of Australian government bonds at the third bond-buying auction since last Wednesday but the weighted average yield on the April 2023 bond was still marginally higher than the 0.25% target.
The RBA bought A$663 million of April 2023 bond at cut-off yield of 0.2575% and weighted average yield of 0.26%.
It also bought A$337 million of April 2024 bond at cut-off yield of 0.2875% and weighted average yield of 0.2898%.
