RBA buying Australian govt bonds; April 2026-Nov 2029

Published On 01 Apr 2020 , 11:51 AMThe RBA is buying Australian government bonds today under the yield target policy, targeting its buying once again in the 2026 to 2029 maturity. It did this on Monday but instead of April 2026-April 2029 then, it is doing April 2026-November 2029 today. This means an additional bond falls within its buying target.
The RBA is buying maximum A$3 billion of government bonds.
The bonds falling within this maturity are:
-4.25% April 2026
-4.75% April 2027
-2.75% November 2027
-2.25% May 2028
-2.75% November 2028
-3.25% April 2029
-2.75% November 2029
