RBA buying A$2B of April 2023, 2024 again

Published On 13 Aug 2020 , 11:29 AMThe RBA remains determined to keep 3-year Australian government bonds near its 0.25% target, offering to buy A$2 billion of government bonds for the second consecutive day. The RBA is buying the same April 2023 and April 2024 government bonds again.
At the bond-buying auction on Wednesday, the RBA bought A$1.25 billion of the April 2023 bond at cut-off of 0.2550% and weighted average yield of 0.2569%. It bought A$750 million of the April 2024 bond at cut-off of 0.2975% and weighted average of 0.2982%.
