RBA bond-buying announcement keenly awaited

Published On 22 Feb 2021 , 10:58 AMMarket looking forward to RBA's bond-buying announcement today for purchases under three-year yield target policy following rise in yields since Friday afternoon.
The RBA last bought the April 2024 bond on December 10, when it also purchased the April 2023 bond. It will be interesting to see whether the RBA buys just April 2024, or both the April 2023 and April 2024, should it decide to do any buying under the yield target policy today.
