AOFM sells Nov 2028 bond at 0.7959%

Published On 01 Jul 2020 , 11:09 AMThe AOFM sold A$2.0 billion of 2.75% November 2028 government bond at a weighted average yield of 0.7959%. The coverage ratio was 3.57 vs record high of 5.4266 at a tender in February 2018. The lowest yield today was 0.7925% and the highest was 0.7975%.
There were 41 bids in total, and only 8 were successful, with 4 getting 100% allotment.
With this issue, this bond line has now increased A$27.6 billion. The last time this bond was issued was in November 2018 for A$600 million when the weighted average issue yield was 2.6418%.
The bond was first issued in February 2017 via syndication for A$11.0 billion at a weighted average yield of 3.0050%.
