AOFM sells Nov 2022 bond at record low tender yield 0.2384%

Published On 25 May 2020 , 11:05 AMThe AOFM has sold A$2.0 billion of 2.25% November 2022 government bond at a weighted average issue yield of 0.2384%, lower than the previous record low of 0.2450% at April 6 tender. The coverage ratio was 4.5310, well short of 7.6833 at a tender in in July 2018. The lowest yield today was 0.2350% and the highest 0.2400%.
There were 42 bids in total, and only 13 were successful, and among them 5 got 100% allotment.
With this issue, this bond line has now increased to A$24.5 billion. The bond was first issued in October 2017 for A$3.5 billion at weighted average yield of 2.4167, and was last issued on April 20 at a weighted average yield of 0.2544.
